You may see other mats listed as 1/4 inch mats, but they are actually 4.0 - 5.2 mm in thickness -- noticeably thinner than our mat. Made of highly durable foam with a high-tack surface for stickiness, the SunShine Yoga mat should give you many years of use. Compared to a standard yoga mat (68" x 24" x 1/8") our Deluxe yoga mat is 4" longer and twice as thick.
