These heavyweight thick Mexican blankets are a great way to add extra cushion to your yoga workout by laying it on top of your yoga mat. The high quality, tight weave provides traction for your hands and feet during any challenging pose. The blankets only get softer with each wash. Due to the authentic nature each blanket is unique and there can be small variations in the design, and color. This is completely normal and part of the blanket's natural beauty.

Care Instructions: Hand or machine wash cold. Hang or tumble dry with low heat. Lint will go away after 1 or 2 washing. Be sure to empty your lint trap. Due to the authentic nature of the manufacturing process there may be loose strings. Simply remove these with a scissors or keep for a rustic look.

Poorly made

Heavyweight Mexican Yoga Blanket by La Montana
Mar 31st 2019These blankets are excellent for the purpose for which I purchased them. I have a much loved dog that has forgotten all her toilet training as she got older. The blanket is heavy weight enough that I use it as a floor rug. I ironed some fusible interfacing at the back of the blanket and spread it over a waterproof pad. It is now firm enough so it doesn't bunch when walked upon, yet light enough to throw it into the washer. Most "washable " are either unattractive or too heavy to go into the wash.

Heavyweight blanket
Feb 26th 2019I really wanted a heavier yoga blanket as I don't love the lightweight ones. It's so nice to have that extra weight especially during Savasana. It's also very hard to buy on line, but I was very pleased. Color is true and weight is accurate. Very impressed with the speedy shipment service. I will use this company again and have already recommended it to other yoga practioners and yoga friends. Great service and great yoga products. I also bought blocks and a strap. All great.
