This Disclaimer applies to products sold by Arcavate Corporation, doing business as Sunshine Yoga and SunshineYoga.com ("Sunshine Yoga," "we," "us," or "our"), and is part of our Terms of Service.
Exercise and Product Use
Sunshine Yoga products are intended for general fitness, yoga, Pilates, stretching, balance training, meditation, and other exercise activities. Because every individual has different physical abilities, health conditions, and fitness levels, our products may not be appropriate for everyone.
Exercise involves inherent risks, and improper use of exercise equipment may result in injury. It is your responsibility to use all products safely and according to any provided instructions.
Sunshine Yoga does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and makes no medical claims about its products. Information on our website is for general informational purposes only and should not be considered medical advice.
Before beginning any new exercise program or using our products, consult your physician or another qualified healthcare provider, particularly if you:
- Have a medical condition or injury
- Are pregnant or nursing
- Have concerns about your physical ability to exercise
- Are beginning a new fitness program
If you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or any unusual discomfort while using our products, stop immediately and seek medical attention if necessary. Never force or strain your body during any exercise.
Product-Specific Safety
- Mats and floor surfaces: Use mats on a clean, dry, flat surface. Grip varies with surface, moisture, and wear, and new mats may need a break-in period. Mats, towels, and floor runners can shift on smooth floors.
- Blankets and towels: Do not place blankets on top of a mat for standing or balance poses, as they can slide. Lay towels flat and follow the product's instructions, such as lightly misting with water.
- Bolsters and blocks: Place props on a stable surface and make sure they're secure before putting your weight on them.
- Heated or chilled products: Follow the heating and cooling instructions for eye pillows and similar products exactly. Always test the temperature before use. Do not use heated products on children or on anyone unable to remove them.
- Scented products: Some products, such as lavender eye pillows, contain fragrance. If you are sensitive to scents, choose an unscented version.
- Straps: Use straps to support a stretch, not to pull your body beyond its comfortable range of motion.
- Sandbags: Do not overfill, and do not exceed the stated weight capacity.
Children
Sunshine Yoga products are intended for adult use unless otherwise specified. Children should use our products only under the direct supervision of a responsible adult. Certain products may not be appropriate for young children due to size, intended use, or potential hazards. Our products are not toys and should not be used by children under 5 years old.
Product Care and Inspection
You are responsible for inspecting and maintaining your equipment before each use. Do not use products that are damaged, excessively worn, torn, cracked, slippery, or otherwise unsafe; continued use may increase the risk of injury. Proper cleaning, storage, and maintenance will help extend the life and safe performance of your products.
Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability
By purchasing or using Sunshine Yoga products, you acknowledge that physical activity involves inherent risks, and you assume full responsibility for determining whether our products are appropriate for your intended use.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Arcavate Corporation and its owners, employees, affiliates, and representatives shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from the misuse or improper use of, or inability to use, any product purchased from our website.
